CSR Initiatives
TBWB is actively involved in various CSR initiatives. Every year, we support the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF) with a donation and sponsor local initiatives. Some of the good causes we have supported in recent years include:

Save the Trees & Reuse Boxes
We are dedicated to making environmentally conscious choices. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our use of recycled boxes and packaging materials. When you receive your order from us, you’ll notice a label that reads: “Save the Trees! We use recycled materials and boxes for a better environment.” But what does this mean, and why do we choose to reuse boxes and packaging materials? Allow us to explain.
Why We Use Plain Boxes
We understand the appeal of brightly colored boxes. The blue boxes from Bol.com and Coolblue or the red ones from Mediamarkt provide a sense of familiarity and strong marketing value. However, at TBWB, we take a different approach. Our mission is to reuse boxes as much as possible. It might not be as visually appealing, but it’s a sustainable solution that helps preserve our environment.
The Importance of Reusing Boxes
Reusing boxes significantly reduces the environmental impact. But what exactly is a reused box? It can be an existing box from a supplier, one from our own received packages, or a box from surplus stock or overproduction. As long as the box is in good condition, it’s suitable for reuse.
