Challenge
At technical wholesaler Zevij, the existing Pick to Light (PTL) system on several order-picking lines had reached the end of its lifespan. To maintain high efficiency on the floor and ensure error-free operations, these defective lines urgently needed replacement. The main challenge? The new technology had to be seamlessly integrated with the lines that were still in full operation. Furthermore, the installation had to take place during normal business hours, without disrupting ongoing logistics processes.
Solution
TBWB successfully upgraded Zevij's setup with the latest generation of Pick to Light models. This intuitive solution guides employees quickly and accurately via smart LED indicators and digital displays. This minimizes training time, reduces the margin of error to an absolute minimum, and significantly speeds up order processing.

Advanced hardware: Installation of 248 five-digit PTL tags, equipped with flexible six-color LED indicators for clear visual guidance.
Powerful controllers: Each PTL controller effortlessly manages up to 120 tags and features 4 outputs for optimal performance.
Future-proof software: Thanks to the smart TBWB PTL Control software, a flawless integration into the existing system was guaranteed.
Seamless installation: All assembly and installation work was carried out during normal operational hours. As a result, the impact on daily operations was kept to an absolute minimum.
