Challenge
Logistics service provider trans-o-flex in Steinach was looking for a new, future-proof sorting system. The challenge was substantial: they needed a complete, robust solution capable of combining a high processing speed (4,200 parcels per hour) with maximum energy efficiency and minimal maintenance. Additionally, the client required a turn-key delivery, including the necessary infrastructure such as a mezzanine, as well as smart software to control everything seamlessly.

TBWB designed, installed, and delivered an advanced, modular total solution, including the complete mezzanine and a service guarantee for the future.

High capacity: The system flawlessly processes an impressive 4,200 parcels per hour at high speed.
Maximum energy efficiency: Around 70% of the Interroll MCP (Modular Conveyor Platform) utilizes energy-efficient 48V conveyors. The heavier 400V conveyors are equipped with smart Lenze controllers that feed generated energy straight back into the power grid!
Ultra-fast maintenance: Thanks to the smart modular design, the advanced Flowsort diverters can be replaced in just 15 minutes. This guarantees an unprecedentedly high uptime.
Seamless integration & control: The entire operation is flawlessly managed by our proprietary TBWB SorterControl™ software, featuring a highly user-friendly HMI interface.
